Robert Crosbie (1849–1919) was a Canadian-born Theosophist who founded the United Lodge of Theosophists (ULT) in Los Angeles in 1909, and in 1912 founded the magazine Theosophy. Crosbie emphasised impersonality and anonymity as core principles of genuine Theosophical work, focusing on direct study of H.P. Blavatsky and W.Q. Judge rather than personality-centred leadership.
