William Quan Judge (1851–1896) was a co-founder of the Theosophical Society and one of its most prolific writers. Born in Dublin and raised in New York, Judge devoted his life to the practical application of Theosophical principles. His works include The Ocean of Theosophy (1893) and Letters That Have Helped Me, both widely regarded as accessible introductions to Theosophical thought.
